On Tuesday, he delivered two unforgettable performances against the Brooklyn Nets.

Morant hit the trampoline for his first 360 layup of the evening with 3:50 to go in the second quarter.

After a few power dribbles, Ja leaped in the air, switching the ball from his right to left hand as he twirled past the contest by Nets center Nic Claxton, then swept it off the backboard for two.

“Oh, he did not do that!” Grizzlies play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica exclaimed in response.

With just under nine minutes to go in the third quarter, Ja took flight again. He saw a runway, leaped and cocked the ball way back, then somehow spun around past Cam Johnson to get square to the backboard and flip it in.

“Not again,” said Grizzlies analyst Brevin Knight, laughing in disbelief.

Morant, a two-time NBA All-Star, is averaging 20.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 9.7 assists so far this season. The Grizzlies are off to a 4-4 start.
