In a dramatic end to the first session, Jasprit Bumrah outsmarted Mushfiqur Rahim with a super slower delivery that sneaked between bat and pad, demolishing the middle stump. This wicket marked Bumrah's third of the innings, contributing to India's successful effort in bowling Bangladesh out for a total of 147 runs.

The Indian spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, along with pacer Jasprit Bumrah, continued their brilliance to bowl out Bangladesh for 146 in their second innings. This set a target of 95 runs for India to win the second Test and seal an outright win over Bangladesh, thereby securing a clean sweep of the two-match series on Tuesday.

The lunch session was extended by half an hour to allow India to wrap up Bangladesh’s innings.

Ashwin ended with figures of 3/50. Jadeja took 3/34. Bumrah claimed 3/17 on Day 5, as Bangladesh, starting at 26/2 in the rain-affected Test, lost eight wickets in the extended morning session, adding just 120 runs to their total.

Overnight batter Shadman Islam was Bangladesh’s top scorer in the second innings, contributing 50 runs.
