In preparation for this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the retention rules, with franchises required to submit the names of their retained players by October 31. In light of these developments, the renowned 5-time champion team Mumbai Indians has made a significant decision to fortify their squad.

Mumbai Indians have roped in former India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey. However, official confirmation is yet to be made. The five-time IPL champions already have legends like Sri Lankan great pacer Lasith Malinga and 80s Indian fast bowler TA Sekar. Now the franchise will benefit from Parag Mhambrey’s experience. He was associated with Mumbai Indians since the inauguration of IPL in 2008 till 2015. Now the return of Paras Mhambrey is important for the team.
