New Delhi: KM Asif, the former CSK medium pacer, impressed everyone with a deadly in-swinger during the ongoing Kerala Cricket League match between Calicut Globstars and Aries Kollam Sailors. Asif, who was the standout bowler for Kollam, ended with figures of 3/31 from his 4 overs in the third game of the league.

Once touted as the future of Indian cricket, KM Asif started his domestic career on the front foot and his talent was recognised by MS Dhoni and CSK, who purchased him in 2018. But, the talented bowler has so far, failed to live up to the expectations.

KM Asif bowled the best ball of the day to get rid of Calicut skipper Rohan Kunnummal for 6. The incident happened in the 2nd ball of the third over as KM Asif bowled an inswinger and castled Rohan. The batter was completely shocked at the number of swings the ball offered.

The ball pitched outside the off and nipped back into the stumps and hit the middle one. The CG skipper, Rohan hardly made any move with his feet as when he looked behind he was shocked after the ball beat his inside edge with ease.
