In a thrilling match on Tuesday, substitute Dani Olmo came to the rescue for Real Madrid, scoring in the 82nd minute to secure a stunning 2-1 comeback win against Rayo Vallecano. This victory marks Real Madrid's third consecutive win of the season, maintaining their flawless start in LaLiga.

Rayo dominated proceedings in the first half and took the lead with a strike by Unai Lopez in the ninth minute, but Barca were livelier after the break, with Pedri levelling from a counter attack in the 60th minute.

Olmo, who was making his debut for Barca after signing from RB Leipzig, scored the winner with a curling strike in the 82nd minute, giving Barca a deserved win to maintain their momentum.

Barcelona top the standings on nine points from three games, two ahead second-placed Villarreal. Rayo are eighth on four points.
